Fruits & Veggies Timeline

Amazingly this tea set has inspired me during 10 years! to design a whole family of patterns for block-printing, appliqué, and lately embroidery.

That blue circle with lines caught my eye and was the spark I needed to start sketching this bunch of fruits in a basket. Can you spot the same circle with lines in the foam print block? In the felted pillow cover, in the embroidery? Can you see how those lines were transformed into something else in the second embroidery?
