Christmas embroidered wall-hanging
Is it too early to talk about Christmas projects? Halloween is just around the corner and then Thanksgiving for some of you, but time flies so if you've been thinking of embarking in a handmade project, now is the moment to start.
Two years ago I embroidered this wall-hanging and it received such a positive response. Some people suggested I put together a PDF pattern so they could embroider it themselves. Not that I've ignored them but I don't know why it took me so long to make it. Finally it's ready, just in time for next Christmas.
The 8-page printable PDF pattern includes real-size motif and detailed instructions on how to embroider each of the featured stitches. Not convinced of committing to a large project? No problem, there are also suggestions of alternative techniques for easier and quicker completion.
And yes, I'd recommend this project for a beginner embroiderer. Stitches are not too hard to achieve and the motif is very forgiving in case you prefer to render it in a more relaxed and irregular fashion ;)

¿Será demasiado pronto para hablar de proyectos de Navidad? Ya se nos viene Halloween y después Acción de Gracias para algunos de ustedes, pero el tiempo vuela así que si has estado pensando en embarcarte en algún proyecto manual, ahora es cuando para comenzar.
Hace dos años bordé este tapiz y recibió varios y buenos comentarios. Algunas personas me sugirieron que armara un archivo PDF con el patrón para que lo pudieran bordar ellas mismas. No es que las haya ignorado pero no sé por qué me tomó tanto tiempo hacerlo. Finalmente está listo, justo a tiempo para la próxima Navidad.
Este patrón imprimible de ocho páginas en formato PDF incluye el diseño a tamaño real e instrucciones detalladas para bordar cada una de las puntadas desplegadas en el tapiz. ¿No te convence comprometerte con un proyecto muy grande? No hay problema porque también hay sugerencias de técnicas alternativas para terminarlo fácil y rápidamente.
Y sí, recomiendo este proyecto para principiantes. Las puntadas no son muy difíciles de lograr y el diseño es bastante indulgente en caso de que decidas hacerlo en un estilo más relajado e irregular ;)
