A new sampler
This is the sampler we are working on at the embroidery workshop – a more designed and graphic piece that you can actually make something with (a bag, a cushion, a framed embroidery.) The nice thing is that the idea came from one of my students (Why don't you create a special design for the sampler?) So this is how I came up with it, something easy enough for beginners but still challenging and attractive to those who already can embroider. I love my students!

Este es el muestrario en el que estamos trabajando en el taller de bordado: una pieza diseñada y más gráfica con la que puedes armarte algo (un bolso, un cojín, un bordado enmarcado). Lo bonito es que la idea me la propuso una de mis alumnas (¿Por qué no haces un diseño especial para el muestrario?) Así fue cómo se me ocurrió, algo sencillo para principiantes pero suficientemente desafiante y atractivo para quienes ya saben bordar. ¡Adoro a mis alumnas!
