Wool forever

My coat finally arrived! A couple of weeks ago I ordered a knitted coat from kelgwo and now it's here! Kelgwo is a small textile company based in the island of Chiloé, Chile, producing beautiful knitted and woven woolens (clothing and home decor). The coat, though very thick and heavy, is surprisingly fitted and flattering. I love the contrast of the textured knit with the bold and geometric coat style. Kelgwo website is packed with the most lovely images from their collection surrounded by the stunning landscape of Chiloé. A must-see!

I'm amazed by your work Karen, after u told me about your blog, I thought to give a chance to read it all, so I did, and I enjoyed it. Even though I don't know much about the topic, it seems to be that u have been developing ur textil skills so fast and deep. I hope u find the opportunity to work and make all these beautiful designs known to everyone in Chile or abroad.
My favourites:
The "hot water bottle"; I'm a big fan of those things as I think once I told u.
The "garden plants"; Well as far as I know u, u are a "Meister" in pattern designs.
Also I felt confident cos' I understood some of that encripted data in "L'amour est un poisson rebelle".
Hope to see u at 8:30 and to have a good time.
Alles gute und viel Glück mit deiner Arbeit!!!
